Last year was another record-breaking year for submissions, with 60 nominations received in total, recognising both institutional and individual efforts to drive excellence in our sector. Revisit last year's winners.
This year, awards will be presented to member institutions and individuals in the following categories:
Member institution award categories
| Empowering Student Voice Award
Recognising IHE Members who are empowering students to use their voice to effect change and make a positive difference in their institution.
| Inspiring Course Award
Recognising IHE Members who are transforming the learning experience of students and delivering impact through innovative course design, content and delivery.

Recognising IHE Members who are evolving their use of technology to enhance the learner experience.
| Supporting Student Success Award
Recognising IHE Members who are taking a proactive approach to supporting students throughout the student journey.
| Outstanding Collaboration Award
Recognising IHE Members who are taking innovative approaches to building and maintaining links with industry and/or in the local community.
| Advancing International Education Award
Recognising IHE Members who are implementing initiatives to enhance the international student experience, promote the benefits of internationalisation, and develop their international offer.
Individual award categories
| Rising Star Award
Recognising individuals who are making a difference in the IHE community through their sustained and growing contribution to the work of IHE.
Outstanding Contribution Awards
We will also be recognising Members’ outstanding contributions to the IHE community at both provider and individual level. Nominations are not open for the provider category, but to propose a nominee for the individual award, please contact [email protected]. Winners will be determined by the IHE Board.
How to enter
IHE Awards are open to IHE Members only. Entries should be submitted via the relevant nomination form. The deadline for entries has been extended to 9am on Monday 6 October 2025.

Judging
Our independent panel of awards judges is formed of representatives from across the higher education community and supporting organisations.
Shortlists and winners
Shortlists will be published in early November. Winners will be announced at the IHE Awards ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 26 November 2025 at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP London) immediately following the IHE Annual Conference 2025.
