We are delighted to see IHE Members recognised by their students in the WUSCAs 2026 shortlist for the 'Small or Specialist' category.
The WUSCAs spotlight outstanding higher education providers, with awards decided entirely by students - offering a valuable student-led alternative to traditional higher education awards and ranking models. All reviews submitted for the awards are publicly available, reinforcing the transparency and authenticity of the process.
This year, more than 42,000 student reviews were submitted across the UK, with over 90 institutions exceeding the nomination threshold. These insights form a powerful celebration of the student voice, highlighting institutions that deliver consistently high‑quality learning experiences.
Norland College and pointblank music school are both finalists in the 'Small or Specialist' category, which recognises providers offering distinctive, high-impact education within supportive learning environments.
Norland College
One student reviewer shared:
"Norland’s small community makes it an incredibly inviting place to study, everyone is so helpful and supportive – whether that’s staff or students. Campus is bright, clean, and accessible, in a great location. All lecturers are encouraging and offer second to none support on academics, and the blend of theory with practical knowledge ensures we are ready for placements and our future journeys as a nanny."
pointblank music school
One student reviewer wrote:
"Firstly, I study online from Ibiza, Spain. All I can say is the course I am studying MPSE [Music Production & Sound Engineering BA Hons], including the tutors, have been nothing short of first class. I would highly recommend the online course to anyone like me, that cannot take 3 years out of an already busy life to study at campus...It's a 10/10 from me."
We wish Norland College and pointblank music school every success ahead of the awards ceremony Thursday 21 May 2026!
