We have signed the Get the Nation Learning Charter, which signals our commitment to promoting, supporting and lobbying for the policy and regulatory environment that will enable the growth of diverse opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn throughout life.
The aims of the campaign align with our 2030 Strategy and our submission to the Department for Education (DfE) on HE reform, in particular our policy proposals for a new lifelong learning framework - a framework that realises the potential to increase and improve access to opportunities for learners at all stages to upskill.
We recognise that in order to realise true lifelong learning that benefits individuals, industry and the economy, we must get the policy and funding framework right so that providers can innovate, employers can invest in their staff, and there is true student choice.
