UCAS has launched a sector-wide consultation on proposed changes to the operation of the undergraduate admissions cycle, focusing on dates, deadlines, and the structure of applicant choices. Key areas under review include:
- The number of choices students can make as part of their main scheme application
- The structure of firm and insurance choices
- The timing of the January Equal Consideration Date and associated dates
This consultation will close on Wednesday 22 April 2026 at 18:00.
