Student Services series: Suicide prevention training for organisations

This training takes place over two days: Monday 29 June 2026 and Monday 6 July 2026 at 9am-1pm.

Suicide prevention training for organisations is delivered in partnership between MHFA England® and Junah.

MHFA England is not just the national authority on mental health first aid, they're workplace mental health experts too, with nearly two decades of experience and a deep understanding of workplace cultures. Junah supports workplaces and organisations to create mentally healthy environments that are safer from suicide. They equip people with the skills to support a person having thoughts of suicide and develop understanding of the fundamental need for support after suicide within our communities. Practical, powerful, and accessible – this training empowers everyone to make a real difference – and save lives.

Suicide Prevention Training for organisations will:

  • Equip your people to recognise and respond to suicide risk with confidence
  • Build a culture of support, early action, and psychological safety
  • Be suitable for all employees, regardless of role or mental health experience
  • Demonstrate a commitment to employee wellbeing and legal responsibility
