Robert Halfon, Minister for Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education, has written to leaders in higher education in response to a debate in Parliament over the petition from the LEARN network.
As part of his response to the debate, the Minister has formed the Higher Education Mental Health Implementation Taskforce (HEMHIT) to drive forward initiatives on compassionate academic processes, improve identification of students who need support, and create targets for sector improvements.
IHE is representing our members on the taskforce.
