Restructures and acquisitions with Eversheds Sutherland: Session 2

The second in a four-part series, this session with IHE Partner Eversheds Sutherland will explore the employment law considerations for providers when undertaking business changes such as redundancies, changes to curriculum or teaching delivery, changes to corporate structures, merges with or acquisitions of other legal entities, outsourcing or insourcing services and/or sharing back-office services with other providers.

The session will also include consideration of, amongst other areas, the application of TUPE (i.e. when staff are deemed to automatically transfer to another employer and the steps that providers need to take where this applies), the duty to consult with staff representatives when affecting redundancies, structural changes or TUPE transfers, and the issues to consider when making changes to employment contracts.
