In this session, you will have an opportunity to learn about the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) including changes recently introduced by the Student Loans Company. You will gain insight into student eligibility for the DSA, the associated processes for applying, and the student experience since the launch of the new process for needs assessment, assistive technology and training requirements.
More broadly, our expert speaker will talk about the Disabled Students’ Commission’s Disabled Student Commitment and share advice on how to adopt a holistic approach to supporting all disabled students, regardless of DSA eligibility.
