The AGM is the most important event in our governance calendar and is your chance to hear directly from IHE’s Chief Executive and members of the IHE Board about our activity over the past year and the progress we have made.
Highlights from the AGM agenda:
- A private policy discussion with members that will pick up two key topics: institutional governance, including potential changes to a refreshed IHE Governance Code; and student protection, including its link to wider policy around the openness of the higher education sector to new entrants.
- An off-the-record conversation with the two senior civil servants who lead on developing the UK Government's vision and strategy for the higher education sector, at home and abroad. Together we will explore how to maximise the impact that IHE members can have in meeting the new targets for English HE participation and for UK education exports.
