What to expect

We return to One Great George Street in Westminster on Tuesday 26 November 2024 for this year's IHE Annual Conference. Revisit our highlights from last year's conference.

Join us as we reflect on the Labour Government's first few months in office, consider the opportunities ahead for independent providers in the new political environment, and hear perspectives on the future of the tertiary education sector. With insights and debate covering key areas of higher education policy and regulation, the conference is an excellent opportunity to network with sector leaders and senior staff from the independent sector.

Our conference programme will feature a variety of engaging keynote speakers, panel discussions and breakout sessions:

  • Supporting Labour’s agenda for economic growth
  • Meeting the skills needs of the next decade
  • Fit for an uncertain future: reimagining regulation
  • Global strategies to drive local growth: building new links between education and trade
  • The student of 2030: experience and expectations
  • Equality of opportunity for the student of 2025
  • Building financially sustainable higher education through innovation
  • Governing in the student interest
  • Graduates for growth
  • Harnessing student data: analytics and AI
  • Student visas: reflections and next steps
  • Creating our future leaders
