On 1 August 2025, the Office for Students (OfS) will implement their first part of new regulatory requirements on Freedom of Speech and Academic Freedom. This short session will outline these new requirements for those registered with OfS and those applying to OfS in the next 12 months.
We will cover:
- The implementation of the new requirements
- Specific guidance relevant to independent higher education providers, including: students on professional courses, different staffing approaches, students as employees or in work experience/apprenticeships.
