Fraud in higher education is increasing, and the OfS has introduced new condition E8 requiring providers to have comprehensive arrangements for detecting, preventing and stopping it, including staff training. That means staff at all levels need to know what to look for — and what to do when they spot it.
This webinar with Louise Mansfield of law firm Bevan Brittan LLP will cover:
- What the OfS considers fraud and the types most commonly seen in higher education
- How fraud presents in recruitment and admissions, student finance and other high-risk areas
- The warning signs to look out for in your day-to-day work
- What your responsibilities are depending on your role
- Policies and practices that can help you respond confidently when something doesn't look right
This session is particularly relevant for staff working in recruitment and admissions, student finance, and those in management roles with oversight of higher-risk areas.
