Join us for the first session in IHE's inaugural Teaching & Learning Symposium where we will be joined by Dr Jennifer Scoles from the Edinburgh Futures Institute.
Jenny's interests include interdisciplinary learning and teaching, student co-creation, professional learning, climate crisis pedagogy, and sociomaterial methodologies. During 2023-24, Jenny designed and taught on the new undergraduate interdisciplinary programme (MSc Interdisciplinary Futures) at the Edinburgh Futures Institute. As part of her work, she helped create a Toolkit for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, and co-authored an Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching Manifesto.
This session will hear about the Toolkit and the Manifesto as prompts to help others engage and develop interdisciplinary practice, and will engage IHE members in discussion about how this could apply in their contexts.
