WaterBear – The College of Music is owned and run by professional musicians, people with a wealth of experience from the highest levels of music industry.
The first WaterBear college was opened in 2018 in the heart of Brighton, one of the UK’s most exciting cities for music and the arts. The second WaterBear opened in Sheffield, another fantastic UK music city, in 2023. We have a city-wide campus approach that incorporates the best teaching and learning spaces, purpose built to nurture creativity and skills development.
Our students study BA (Hons) and master’s courses in music-related subjects, both on-site in Brighton and Sheffield, and online globally.
WaterBear is all about the independent, DIY music artist, who wants to take full control of their music and their life. We promote a culture of self-belief and determination, with a commitment to high-quality musical output, all of which are all keys to success and fundamental to the WaterBear experience.
WaterBear is a proud partner and College of Falmouth University, one of the UK’s most prestigious creative arts institutions.
