The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education and professional membership organisations. We set global standards for examinations in classical ballet, teacher training and continuing professional development for dance and have a presence in 85 countries, with 36 offices and around 8,000 members worldwide.
As a specialist dance education provider with over 100 years’ experience, we offer a range of initial and continuing teacher education degrees, diplomas and certificates, validated by the University of Bath, and RAD dance teaching qualifications conferred through the RAD’s Royal Charter. Our programmes have been specifically designed to meet current and future aspirations of students wishing to pursue or extend their careers in dance teaching and can be studied full-time or part-time, onsite at the RAD in London or by distance learning.
