Newbold College of Higher Education, a faith-based institution, was established in North London in 1902. After relocating several times, it settled in Binfield, Berkshire, in 1946. Newbold currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in theology and religion, validated by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), along with an English Language Summer School.
Newbold is actively working to expand its academic portfolio further. Accredited by the British Accreditation Council, it has maintained a long-standing history of collaboration with international partners since the mid-1950s. Newbold takes a holistic approach to student development, addressing physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual needs.
Although our programmes are delivered in a synchronous hybrid format, the Newbold experience is best enjoyed on campus. The physical campus provides convenient access to lectures, the library, sports facilities, and a range of opportunities for spiritual growth as well as social and emotional wellbeing.
