Italia Conti has been training performers since 1911 and remains one of the best-known names in British performing arts education. From our purpose-built home in Woking, we deliver vocational and higher education in Acting, Musical Theatre and Dance, alongside postgraduate courses and professional development.
Our training is intensive, practical and connected to the industries our students are preparing to enter. Students work with experienced tutors and visiting practitioners across stage, screen and recorded media, developing the craft, discipline and versatility needed for a lasting career.
Italia Conti combines more than a century of experience with a clear focus on how performer training needs to develop. Our full-time courses sit alongside a national and international network of Associate Schools, extending access to performing arts training for children and young people. Across all our work, we support students to become skilled, independent and thoughtful artists.
In 2026, Italian Conti celebrated 115 years: time passes, excellence remains.
