Since 2002, we have been at the forefront of creative education, supplying the industry with studio-ready talent. We have almost 1,000 students studying across various undergraduate, postgraduate, and short courses.

Our tutors bring contemporary industry workflows and information back into the classroom, enhancing the knowledge of our graduates.
Our world-class industry partners include Industrial Light & Magic, Framestore, DNEG, BlueBolt, Creative Assembly, Cinesite and Blue Zoo. Through our close partnership with Epic Games, we were the first Unreal Authorized Training Center in the UK and are an Unreal Engine Academic Partner.
We offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and short courses focused on ensuring our students are ready to embark on a creative career. Our global community of over 4,000 Escapees (alumni) contribute to major productions across film, TV, games and immersive experiences, including Stranger Things, The Last of Us, Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed. At the 2026 Oscars, Escapees worked on every film nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects: Avatar Fire and Ash, F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, The Last Bus, and Sinners.

Short courses and micro credentials: We offer a range of short courses to suit different learners, ranging from part-time online evening courses (UK time) to short intensive daytime courses up to 21 weeks in length. Subject areas include computer animation, game art, game design, unreal engine, storyboarding, producing, concept art, and motion graphics.
Transnational Education (TNE)
Current TNE offer
Our expertise in software and professional workflows, combined with our dexterity with online resources, means we are trusted to deliver in different territories and time zones.
As an authorised training centre for Unreal Engine software, we frequently run CPD courses for transnational companies.
We have conducted training courses in Producing and VFX for Netflix Spain and Turkey. We have also trained immersive design company Imagination’s designers and technical artists across four continents: Australia, China, USA, and Dubai.
We have worked with multinational VFX company DNEG to standardise training across Canada and the UK.
We also run a student exchange scheme with La Salle University in Barcelona, where students spend one term at the partner institution.
Future collaboration with overseas partners
We are interested in partnerships to deliver qualifications or accreditation outside the UK, student recruitment for UK-based course delivery, study abroad and student exchange partnerships, short courses, skills bootcamps, and summer schools.
