At the College of Medicine and Dentistry (CoMD), our faculty are experts in their fields, our facilities are state-of-the art, and our teaching is centred on the most up to-date evidence-based clinical practice.
CoMD is an institution focused on employability. We are dedicated to upskilling clinicians who wish to enhance their practice in a specific branch of dentistry, medicine or healthcare, as well as providing programmes designed to support internationally qualified dentists and doctors to pass UK registration exams and enter UK practice.
Our part time student body largely comprises UK clinicians and our full time students are almost exclusively international, many sponsored by their governments. We are committed to internationalisation, collaboratively delivered programmes, knowledge exchange and research partnerships, as well as developing a network of corporate partnerships with future employers of our graduates.

Clinical Fellowship programmes, offering additional experience in UK clinical specialty areas (subject to visa and UK Registration requirements), research and teaching.
Students can study online, coming to the UK for short blocks of hands-on teaching, while undertaking supervised clinical practice in clinics outside the UK. We work with a number of overseas universities and clinics in this way, so students can learn according to the UK curricula and be awarded a degree from a UK university, while undertaking practice in their own country.
With trusted international partners and in line with strict quality assurance processes, we are keen to establish regular clinical placement opportunities for our full-time 3-year MSc students.
