At ALT, we do things differently. We started life as Backstage Academy, founded to train the next generation of live events professionals. As the industry evolved, blurring the lines between music, gaming, broadcast, theatre, and brand experience, so did we.
Today, as ALT, we are focused on the full spectrum of live events, from production management to creative design and technical direction. We have built a unique space for creative, technical and ambitious people who want to be part of the fast-moving world of live entertainment - and who are ready to get hands-on from day one.
Our graduates go on to experience global careers. From creating content for award winning movies and TV such as the Barbie movie and House of the Dragon, to leading the installation of the Dubai 2020 Expo or stage managing a world tour for Ed Sheeran, our graduates create amazing experiences all over the world.

Rock Lititz production campus, Pennsylvania
The Academy of Live Technology's BFA in Live Experience Design & Production is delivered in partnership with Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D).
The degree combines interdisciplinary professional education in art and design with advanced study in live event and experience design, production, and technology.
Students enrolled on the BFA will study art and design at PCA&D’s Lancaster City campus and pursue advanced entertainment industry coursework at Rock Lititz’s educational facilities in Pennsylvania.
