Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM)

ACM is a specialist creative industries provider with campus locations in London, Birmingham and Guildford.

Since opening in 1996 over 25,000 graduates have embarked on careers in the music and wider creative industries sector with ACM alumni boasting Grammys, Brit Awards, Ivor Novello awards and Billboard Music Awards. 

Alongside teaching and research activities, ACM also operates Metropolis Studios in London, Europe’s largest recording complex, and the Electric Theatre in Guildford. These commercial ventures provide real-world connections to industry creating two-way knowledge exchange where industry informs the curriculum and cutting edge research and innovation from ACM informs the future industry practice. Students can study on courses from diploma to masters, with an interdisciplinary, project-based, flexible curriculum framework that includes accelerated degree provision and the world’s first accelerated integrated masters programme.
