The WUSCAs celebrate the commitment and efforts of higher education institutions to provide a high-quality student experience and are judged entirely on the views of students.
More than 36,000 reviews are collected from students each year, who share feedback on the support they have received from their provider, helping to inform the choices and decisions of prospective students.
The Small or Specialist category celebrates the expert provision and nurturing environment of specialist institutions, and the unique experiences provided to students to develop their future careers within a supportive setting. This year's award marks Norland's fifth win in this category.
Dr Janet Rose, Principal of Norland, said:
“Winning the top award at the WUSCAs for 2025 is a testament to our long-standing commitment to provide students with unparalleled training and career opportunities."
Vice Principal and Head of Teaching, Learning and Research, Dr Rebecca Digby, added:
“This award is particularly meaningful as it reflects the experience and perspectives of our students. Our integrated approach, combining our degree programme with the Norland Diploma, equips graduates with real-world experience, setting them apart as the highest quality nannies worldwide. Their training ensures they make a profound impact on the lives of children and families with whom they work.”
Norland were presented with the award at an evening of celebration hosted by comedian Alexander Armstrong at The Brewery in London on Wednesday 21 May 2025.
