As the OfS prepares for regulating within a more modular HE environment from 2025, they are seeking input from providers on determining positive outcomes for students. This call for evidence is open until 2 November. The published documentation includes assumptions from the OfS on potential impact of modular study on the sector, giving an opportunity to inform direction of travel on considerations for measuring completion and progression.
We would particularly like to hear:
- Views on how progression could be defined under modular provision
- What completion means when studying on a modular basis
In order to inform IHE’s response to the call for evidence, this session will benefit from attendance by:
- Those who are already offering modular provision
- Those potentially planning to do so under LLE
- Those who have decided not to do so
We also encourage our members to submit their own response to the OfS by the deadline of 2 November.
