OfS Registration – Introduction to Access and Participation Plans

Join IHE and the Office for Students (OfS) for an introductory webinar that will shine a spotlight on the OfS regulatory approach to Access and Participation and the key requirements for providers. You will gain insight into OfS requirements, what is expected of new providers submitting their first Access and Participation Plan, and the process and timelines for this. The session will also introduce the access and participation data dashboard and Equality of Opportunity Risk Register (EORR) and how these can be used to identify risks to equality of opportunity.

Providers are required to have an access and participation plan if:

1. they are registered with the Office for Students in the 'Approved (fee cap)' category

2. they want to charge above the basic tuition fee cap.

Access and Participation plans must set out the risks to equality of opportunity a provider has identified, the actions they will take to address these, as well as how impact will be evaluated. You can find out more on the OfS website.

Join this session to hear directly from the OfS about these requirements and consider how you can begin your work in this area.
