Pen Green Research, Development and Training Base is an early years research and higher education organisation located in Corby, Northamptonshire. We believe that developing knowledge and understanding through practitioner reflection and action research is a central feature of successful service provision.
We offer early years practitioners a wide range of adult education opportunities including degree programmes, teacher training, conferences and bespoke courses. We provide outstanding education for all through specialist training and development, influenced by research in practice.
Our degree programmes have been designed to suit the needs of practitioners across all Early Years provision. We have a strong and coherent approach to teaching and learning, celebrating children and working as co-educators with parents. All our tutors have their professional roots in early years practice and are engaged in research projects which inform our training provision.
