Institute for Equity, University Centre

Institute for Equity, University Centre is the UK’s specialist Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) higher education institution.

We work across organisational types and sectors. For example, we have provided services to organisations in such sectors as: banking (Bank of England), education (schools, colleges, universities), nuclear industry (Thomas Thor Associates), professional services (Independent Office for Police Conduct), charities (Future First, Association of Family Therapy), uniformed services (Merseyside, Scottish Institute for Policing Research/ Police Scotland and Metropolitan Police), Civil service (British Council), religious (Church of England), and local government (Hackney, Merton and Surrey Councils). 

The Institute delivers Professional Development Certificates in EDI, the EDI Fellowship - the qualification for EDI professionals, the Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in EDI, the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership, and the MBA in Leadership for EDI (from Sept 2025).
