This introductory session will you to think about how you can effectively meet the requirements for staff and student training in the new OfS condition on preventing harassment and sexual misconduct (Condition E6). Psychologist Dr Nina Burrowes, founder of The Consent Collective, will share insights from over a decade of helping organisations create real change.
We will explore:
- Good practice in teaching students about consent and preventing sexual harassment
- Training requirements for staff and how to develop an approach that is right for your institution
- How to embed this work into your institution’s core training and education offering
