OfS harassment and sexual misconduct (Condition E6): Putting requirements into practice

This session will bring together IHE Members and Launchpad subscribers to share how they are meeting the new OfS requirements to prevent and address harassment and sexual misconduct in their institution.

From August 2025 the OfS are introducing a new ongoing condition of registration (Condition E6) which will require providers to plan, deliver, and publish steps they will take that will make a significant and credible difference in protecting students from behaviour that may account to harassment and / or sexual misconduct. These must cover areas including prevention, staff and student training, reporting and investigation procedures, and student support. Both providers who are registered with the OfS, and those who are in a partnership with an institution who is registered with the OfS, are in scope and responsible for the implementation of these requirements.

At this event you will hear from a panel of IHE Members about approaches they are taking to one of aspect of the OfS requirements, including their decision-making and planning processes, what implementation looks like in practice, and any advice they have for others. Following this there will be opportunity to discuss strategies and ongoing challenge as well as possible solutions and next steps.
