IHE Launchpad: Becoming an apprenticeship training provider

Apprenticeships are a key part of the government's plans to address skills gaps and create more opportunities. The expanded growth and skills levy will include foundation apprenticeships, and funding for shorter apprenticeships, giving greater flexibility to respond to industry needs.

This session will provide an introduction for all providers considering delivering apprenticeships. It will cover what an apprenticeship is, how they are delivered and assessed, and what you need to consider if you would like to become an apprenticeship training provider. It will introduce how you apply to the Apprenticeship and Provider Assessment Register (APAR), the documentation and data requirements, and key things you need to know about apprenticeship funding and oversight.
