Launchpad

Launchpad is IHE’s programme of support for independent providers entering the sector or working towards their next regulatory or development milestone. It is designed to help organisations navigate the regulated higher education landscape and its processes.

The programme is included as part of IHE membership and is also available as a standalone subscription for independent providers in the early stages of their regulatory or oversight maturity. Launchpad is also valuable for new staff at established providers who wish to refresh their understanding of sector regulation. Over time, Launchpad subscribers aspire to progress to become IHE Members.

Launchpad training suite

Our Launchpad training suite currently includes over 80 recorded webinar sessions, with new content regularly added, and existing material updated to reflect the evolving needs of members and subscribers. The suite is designed to support organisations in their endeavours to achieve regulatory and oversight objectives.

Topics include: Office for Students (OfS) registration, governance, Degree Awarding Powers (DAPs), academic partnerships, student support, visas and immigration, as well as guidance on becoming an apprenticeship provider and setting up in the UK for overseas providers.

To help build capacity across the whole organisation, individual login details are available for all of your institution’s staff members to access IHE’s ever-expanding Launchpad training suite. Recorded sessions feature expert-led insights and practical guidance, helping to build knowledge of key areas within the higher education landscape, and supporting the development of organisational strategic plans.

Timely policy insights

Launchpad subscribers benefit from sector insights to support informed decision making. Regular updates are available through the IHE Community, our online platform, in addition to a monthly newsletter.

Access IHE events, webinars and training

As a Launchpad subscriber, your staff can benefit from reduced rates at IHE events, webinars and training including our flagship event, the Annual Conference, to support your professional development objectives.

Enhanced strategic support

In addition to a Launchpad subscription, providers can express interest in receiving bespoke strategic support to determine the most suitable pathway and help accelerate their progress. Additional costs apply, and are subject to availability.

IHE Consultancy

IHE’s consultancy service has been specifically designed to deliver confidential, competitively priced, project-based assistance to support IHE Members and Launchpad subscribers.
